Plot Summary
Say it with me several times: It’s a comedy, it’s a comedy, again, it’s a comedy. There is nothing redeeming here, just attempts at laughter. One of the Stooges meets a bunch of kids. “Tough-guy Navy SEAL Shane Wolf (Vin Diesel) never imagined he’d wind up as a babysitter. But that he is, now that he’s been assigned to protect the unruly kids — wily Zoe (Brittany Snow), pouty Seth (Max Theriot), hyperactive Lulu (Morgan York), toddler Peter and baby Tyler — of a scientist who was killed while working on a top secret government project. What’s more, he’s shocked to discover that it’s the hardest job he’s ever had!“ (Netflix summary)

What I Disliked
Vin Diesel does not have many strengths as an actor, but comedy in no way figures in to any of them. His timing is poor, his sense of what is funny is too “cool.” Its funny when Moe grabs Curley’s nose with scissors, but when a duck attacks burly Vin, its just stupid. I made it through the film, and my boys enjoyed it, but its not what I would classify as really good comedy.

What I Liked
Some of the lines were good. The kids seemed up to the task for the most part. A few of the pratfalls were amusing. That’s about it.

Would I recommend it and to whom?
If you don’t have anything else to kill time with, but you can do a lot better.
